About Our Clinic
Throughout our 160 year history, Battersea has always welcomed every animal in need of our help, whatever their condition, and this means that we deal with challenging and complex cases on a daily basis.

The team provide the highest standards of care in all clinical procedures, surgery, preventative medicine and infection control, observing the best principles of shelter medicine and working in our newly refurbished facilities.

Our clinic is RCVS accredited with dental radiography, digital radiography and high-quality ultrasound. We perform a wide range of surgeries and have a high throughput of cases.

We have a wider clinic team working at our London and Brands Hatch sites, creating the opportunity to discuss and share cases to enable the animals to get optimal care. At the London site we have more intensive hospitalization facilities along with hydrotherapy and physio services, for those animals that require it.

The London Clinic is also an approved centre for Student Veterinary Nurses.

Working in our Clinic Team:
Our Clinic team are passionate about providing the very best care for the thousands of unwanted animals that pass though the shelter every year. You’ll be able to provide Veterinary care for our animals on their whole journey through Battersea, from arrival to rehoming. What’s more, you’ll be working alongside colleagues across the charity to make a difference for every animal that comes through our gates, whether that’s our large volunteer and fostering team or helping out at events. We are all here to champion rescue animals when it comes to finding the best possible outcome and strive for high standards of cost effective clinical care. We are also official partners with StreetVet, providing them with kennel space, clinical and fundraising support.
